Well back in September Tug’s favorite person Jeremy went off to college.  Tug went into a very marked depression.  He got sick too which was probably the physical manifestion of that depression.  So I guess you could say Tug was suffering from empy nest syndrome.  Jeremy’s parents were probably suffering too.  Well this past thanksgiving weekend Jeremy came home from school and Tug was over the moon with happiness to have his best friend back.  They had a great weekend together and then Tug went in the car for the drive back to school. Well you couldn’t ask for a more picture perfect day.  I enjoyed an early walk along the Gatineau river today where the views of the fall foliage on the other side were just spectacular.  That along with the sound of Geese flying south overhead.  There is a non stop train of them right now so you know winter is on it’s way.  I never knew the geese use the river as a guide.   I highly recommend a walk along the river at this time of the year. There are 3 amazing Blue Point Siamese cats in my life..one belongs to me and 2 belong to clients.  One day I will write about all three but today is about Lionel.  Lionel went missing for about 3 days and his owner called me in great distress to see if I could help find him.  It is funny when you are the local dog walker/pet sitter as when ever a dog or cat is lost or found people call the vet and they call me.  Thankfully I have actually been involved in a number of successful finding of lost pets.  I also seem to help people adopt the found animals that no one claims.  I love that. Well I thought yesterday was a sad day as our good friend Vaughn enjoyed his last walk with us as he is moving out of the area.  We enjoyed a great last walk and I tried to make sure all his best friends were there to enjoy it and see him off with the best walk ever. (more…)
