every pet’s Heaven
So our first dog walk back after the Christmas holidays was just too exiting for some of our lovely pooches. I am sure they all enjoyed their 2 weeks at home with their families there full time…what a luxury. When I picked most of them up for their first walk they were just so exited to see their long lost pals. You would think it was 2 years since they had seen each other and not 2 weeks.
Well in this excitement someone forgot protocol and actually pooped in the back of the dogmobile. This actually happens about 1 time a year believe it or not. The 6 dogs in question were playing together and the dogmobile was rocking and rolling as usual when suddenly all went silent. All 6 dogs moved to the front of the car and sat stock still. If the smell itself wasn’t a clue this sudden silence and lack of activity gave it all away.
When a dog poops in the car it horrifies all the other dogs and usually horrifies the dog who did it too. They all try to get as far away from “it” as they possibly can. If I didn’t have to clean it up I would find it quite comical actually. My welcome back to dogwalking gift.

Well, Sheri _ I finally caught up with you online and I am loving your blog. Still no whiff of who the culprit might be _ the anonymous pooper? Not that we want to single anyone out. It sounds as if they were all quite mortified. They have more delicate sensibilities than we humans do _ I’ll keep reading _ Susan
PS _ I’m sure it wasn’t Kali. Such an embarrassing breach of protocol would send her into a slump for a month.
I definitely agree with Susan, mommy in law to Kali; it could not have been ‘little miss princess’ as she is known…too embarrassing for her and her head would be down in ‘mope’ pose for a long time.
Not that miss ‘perfect’ (also a nickname, along with poochola, kalarama, Mrs. (as opposed to the felines: Miss and Mr.), Kalarama dingdong, Nobionga (for being so noble), and the list goes on…oh, yes, ‘Pooperama’ has come off our lips…but not after a ‘car incident’. After all, Kali is now 6 and very mature.
Maybe put a surveillance camera in your Element…for future infractions…punishments might include, one less treat, diapers for a week, or an extra hug for feeling so embarrassed.
Love your diary…don’t forget to comment on Little Miss Perfect from time to time…; hoping her love for Nina has returned….
